Enchanted Princess 'Barcelona - Rome' Highlights

We were up early, cleaned up and packed the last of our stuff and left our cabin just after 8am. They ask you to vacate rooms by 8:30am. We went one deck down to the buffet and had a leisurely breakfast and left the ship for the last time just after 9am.

Our flight wasn't until mid-afternoon so when looking at airport transfers we decided not to get the cruise line/Princess transfers as from experience they leave super early. Our last cruise our meeting time was 7:10am, dd wasn't happy to be up and fed by 7am Fine if you have an early flight but we didn't want to rush our morning so looked at other options. Private transfers were about €150+ but I found a shared option with good reviews, 'sharedshuttle.it'. €80+tip for us both. When we walked out of the terminal, there was someone holding a sign with our name and they sent us across to a mini van where two other couples were waiting. We all loaded in and it took a little less than an hour to get to the airport.

We still had a bit of a wait at the airport but it was fine. Flight was on time, bags came out quickly, got on the motorway and home in a couple of hours.

We really enjoyed our trip and loved the cruise. I think the high point was our day in Marseille.

We are on Discovery Princess in January, sister ship to Enchanted, a couple of different venues so it will be nice to have familiarity and also something new.

Having another trip booked makes it easier to come home. You must be so excited now, your trip is so close 😍
