Manchester Airport Hotels

Looking for recommendations for an overview stay at or near Manchester Airport for next August. We want to do Twilight checkin so easy access to T2 and back to the hotel the night before is a must! Weíll be travelling there by train so using public transport or Uber only. Previously weíve stayed at PI Heald Green which was great. Iíve been looking at the new IBIS near T2 but the reviews are not that good.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn, very short walk to check in and a comfortable hotel. Will use it again anytime. Thereís a you tube video showing the walk across to the terminal, which is easy from the Holiday Inn especially if you use the lift to go up to departures to check in your luggage

My friend stayed in the ibis and she said never again. She said thereís basic and then there is the ibis but I guess if itís just one night then maybe itís ok?
We are a family of 4 so when I costed it between holiday inn and the Radisson surprisingly the Radisson was the cheapest so thatís where we booked and it was spot on. We did twilight check in too. So if there is less than 4 maybe the holiday inn if more try the Radisson. We paid £124 for 4 of us with a runway view. I plan on doing the latter again as you just canít beat that runway view 😍

Our recent travel day vlog shows Radisson Blu (connected to T2) as well as Meet & Greet Parking there showing how dead the terminal is in the evening. The price has come down massively since Holiday Inn opened so we got 2 interconnecting rooms for £204 in August (and got an upgrade!). Tip that I forgot to mention in the vlog: book your breakfasts before the day as itís about £4 cheaper (we forgot to). Kids 12 and under half price. I think we paid £70. BUT, itís amazing and weíre now considering going there just for breakfast one weekend! 🤣

Weíve booked the newHoliday Inn for upcoming holiday. Priced the Raddison but was not prepared to pay what they were offering. Maybe should have kept checking if they are now reducing costs. We also travel in by rail 🤞 and use twilight so wanted something close by. Premier inn North we have used before but need to add additional cost of taxi so a walk of a few minutes seemed better option. With breakfast we paid £125 for2 people

We have usually stayed at the Radisson but this year did the Holiday Inn. Liked them both so In future will just go with whichever is cheaper at the time.

Thanks for the replies. I priced up Radison which is £218 and the Holiday Inn is £155. This s for 2a and 1C with breakfast, so weíve gone for the cheaper Holiday Inn. I would love to stay at the Radison though if it wasnt so expensive!
