Princess Sparkles 1st WDW Adventure - 2 Adults, 1 Child - Offsite & Onsite with prices *COMPLETE*

Hello and welcome to my 2023 food report.

We are a family of three (2 Adults & a 7 year old) and we were staying in a Villa for 13 days from 4 October to 17 October 2023.

We had most breakfasts at the villa, apart from the first day where we had an ADR booked at Crystal Palace with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet.

I will include receipts for anyone interested in prices. I roughly budgeted $50 for QS lunch in the parks and $70 for dinner each day.

We have stayed at Disney resorts many times before but this was our first time with our daughter and we decided to try a private villa, so we had more room and a pool. There was also no free dining like we were used to at Disney (we last stayed in 2016), so a villa seemed the better budget & family friendly idea.

Arrival Day - McDonalds takeout
Day Two - Crystal Palace, Millers Ale House
Day Three - Satu'li Canteen, Regal Eagle Smokehouse
Day Four - Florida Mall Asian Chao & Popeyes, Rainforest Cafe Disney Springs
Day Five - Connections Eatery,
Day Six - Landscape of Flavours Art of Animation Resort, Backlot Express
Day Seven - Columbia Harbour House, Ihop
Day Eight - Primo Piatto Riviera Resort,
Day Nine - Altamonte Mall Chick-Fil-A & Charley's, Denny's Pickup
Day Ten - Everything Pop Pop Century Resort, Cracker Barrel
Day Eleven - Connections Eatery, Contempo Cafe
Day Twelve - Centertown Market Carribean Beach Resort, Pinnochio's Village Haus
Day Thirteen - Regal Eagle Smokehouse, Nathans MCO Airport

It looks like you had a great mix of onsite and offsite meals. I hope you had a good time and I can't wait to read all about it.

Arrival Day

McDonalds Drive thru

We picked this up on the way to our villa, planning to eat it there. Unfortunately I don't have pics of the actual food, as we had a bit of an issue getting into our villa and with the stress of that I totally forgot!

I'm sure most people know what a Big Mac & kids nugget meal looks like. The only comment I had was that the Big Mac sauce is not quite the same as the UK, it is more Mayo like with the gherkin bits.

Day 2

Crystal Palace Breakfast

We had an 8am ADR with Pooh & Friends.

This is a buffet and there is so much on offer, sweet & savoury.

I particularly enjoyed the mini denver omelette, cheesy hashbrown casserole and of course the mickey waffles!

You are paying for the experience here and it is a very pricey breakfast but we all enjoyed it and the characters were great, spent plenty of time at each table and there were breaks in between each character, so you had time to actually eat your breakfast too.

Day 2 Dinner - Millers Ale House

Our first time here, and had heard good things. It was busy but we got seated after about a 15 minute wait.

I ordered the Zinger Mountain Melt with sweet chilli & ranch dressing. This was delicious. We were there on a Thursday and there is an offer on that night to have the supersize version for I think only a couple of dollars more than the regular size. I'm glad I didn't take up the offer though as I struggled to finish the regular size.

Ian had the 'Cue Bacon Cheeseburger which he enjoyed. It is topped with BBQ sauce and thin crispy onion rings.

Kaitlyn had the kids Mac & Cheese, which comes with a side (she chose fries) a drink and Ice Cream. She enjoyed this.

For under $50 + tip we thought this meal was great value, and we will definitely be back.

Day 3 Lunch - Satu'li Canteen

I don't know if it's the norm but they were only letting you go inside if you had a mobile order, we did have this so it wasn't a problem. There was no queue for the mobile pick up but I couldn't see where the regular queue was and if it was busy. A lot of the tables were full of people not with food so I wondered if that was why they were requesting the mobile order.

We both went for the Cheeseburger Pods, which were nice but a little dry, I had some of the sweet relish packets to dip them in which helped.

Kaitlyn had the dough wrapped hotdog but I don't appear to have taken a pic of this.

I couldn't find my mobile order receipt for this but in my bank app it cost $36.38
