Not stayed at riverside but stayed at POFQ a few times - itís my favourite resort.

Itís relatively small so easy to get round no large queues for food or transport. It has lovely theming and a great atmosphere in my opinion.

Plus you can also take the short walk over to POR and use the more extensive facilities there if you want to so it the best of both worlds in my opinion.

Iíd stay there again in a heartbeat - the only reason I donít is weíre now a family of 5.

I've stayed at both - twice each. My choice is definitely FQ, as it's smaller, and only has one bus stop. Much easier for park access and food court, etc. You also still get all the facilities of Riverside just a short walk away - or a boat ride, if you prefer.

Both lovely and really depends on preference. As an increasingly unfit and creaky person I so appreciated how near everything was at POFQ!

I might be in the minority here but as lovely as POFQ is, I feel it is too small and lacks atmosphere. I love the sweeping grounds of Riverside and focus on the river it has. Its all personal preference but my vote goes to POR.

FQ feels nicer in my opinion. RS has a bigger food court but FQ always seems to have nicer and fresher food. FQ has freestyle drinks machines but RS has the old drinks machine. Rooms are identical.
Both are close enough for a short stroll between.

Love love love FQ. I've only run round POR a few times but would be perfectly happy there too.

I just feel the central hub (restaurant etc) at POR is busier (but their do have a slightly larger menu). I do prefer the smaller resorts.

Love both resorts, love FQ a little more.

FQ is smaller, more compact so less walking to the food court, store, reception. Single bus stop outside reception. Just the one pool and no table service restaurant.

Riverside is bigger, so you can wind up with a longer walk to the amenities. Several bus stops around the resort, although this can sometimes mean busier buses. More than one pool, including the main one and quieter ones. Boatwrights table service restaurant (try the Jambalaya!).

We personally prefer FQ, DS prefers Riverside. With a roughly 5 mins walk between the two along the river (or could take the boat taxi), the two resorts are effectively one so you have easy, unfettered access to everything at the other resort, no matter which you stay at.

Iíve stayed at RS 3 times and FQ 1 they are both lovely. FQ is much much smaller and less to do really but itís nice for that. I find RS better done in terms of the rooms, food, shop and decor but both are lovely so whichever is cheaper and you get a better vibe from I say! Iíve just booked RS for our 4th stay but that was our only choice.
