Whats in yours?

Packed lunch? Yours, your partners, your children?
What do you / they have in their packed lunch?

I make up the packed lunches up in the morning so that they are nice and fresh. I also use ice packs to keep cold items cool 👍🏻👍🏻

Husband:
Seeded bread with cheese, ham & salad, mayo (no butter) (or malt loaf, whole loaf)
In winter, fresh soup (or malt loaf)
Banana and two other pieces of fruit.

Daughter (17)
Her taste changes like the wind so it’s difficult to keep up !
Baby bell, carrot sticks, maybe jacobs crackers.
In winter, a pot she can add hot water too (kettle at college) one piece of fruit, pom bear crisp & either a fredo or fudge.

Son (14)
He has autism so the bread, filling, wrapper, snacks must be the same every single day for school.
2 x squares (brown) with butter (lurpak) tesco, medium cheddar square sliced cheese, one slice on each warburton square.
Ready salted baked crisp & cadburys oreo bar.

Baby boy (7)
Would usually have a hot school dinner but school are not doing them at the moment. Which his allergies and food phobias he has a little selection. He also has to sit on a table on his own during lunch 😢

Fridge raiders slow roasted chicken or chicken leg.
Ritz crackers and mini tub of Philadelphia light cheese.
Mini choc chip muffin or freddo.

I am hoping school start hot dinners when the weather turns 🤞🏻

I tend to stick with the same because I can't be bothered and also loosely follow slimming world so for me it's 2 slices wholemeal (small loaf) ham and mustard sandwich, banana, Apple.

Both kids have the same 7 and 9 yo
Sandwich/wrap or pasta if we have left overs
Crisps or crackers
Frube
Flapjack or popcorn
Slices grapes and blueberries

I try to switch it up as much as possible so it doesn't get boring

I hate making packed lunches. It's one of my worst jobs

I make a salad with ham or chicken or a pasta salad or sometimes leftovers from the night before.
DH has sandwiches usually cheese and onion and will take a muffin and some crisps

I've just packed my lunch up for tomorrow- couscous with roasted veg (squash, pepper, tomatoes, beetroot and onion roasted with harissa paste and lime juice) and feta cheese. Plus an orange.
I also make a milky coffee to leave the house with - only a 15 minute drive to work so still drinking it whilst checking emails etc.
My other regular lunch is greek yoghurt with homemade muesli and fruit (mango and stewed plums are my current favourites but anything really)
We have a microwave and kettle in the office but don't regularly use them.
