The two big musts for us are -
1. Rear lake view. Definitely not looking into another house or fence.
2. In the Formosa Gardens area off US-193. Not US-27.

We go to the one nearest Formosa Gardens, next to the new Margaritaville. We go just for coffee and a snack though 😊 their coffee is lovely🥰

The nearest B&BW to Highgate Park (which is just off the 27 and suits us nicely ) is at Posner but as it only opened in January we haven't been yet.

But we will when we have had our Thanksgiving dinner at Bob Evans again soon.

Not an expert on DD but there is one at the junction of 192/Westside near the Racetrac.

Sadly Joan's glass is half empty at the minute. Mine is still just about half full but I wish DeSantis would take it seriously

Mick

I understand the half full half empty for you both , stay positive it’s still over three months to go , a lot can change in that time and hopefully it will change for the better 🙏🏻

Your nearest Dunkin is at the junction of Lake Wilson road and the 532

You just described the house I now live in full time. The view never gets old!

The coffee is only $1 at the moment for even the largest size. It is also worth mentioning their always clean rest rooms. They are the only gas station ones I'm not afraid to use. I drive 100's of miles most weeks and with many fast food places using Covid as an excuse to keep their's closed, I have been very happy to see them all over Central Florida.

DeSantis take anything seriously that's a laugh he kept flea pit hotels open whilst closing vacation homes WHY because Donald doesn't have any vacation homes in Florida but he does have two hotels, ok rant over.

Thanks Mick & Joan for your glowing guide to villas

Dave

Because we don't go to the parks now and haven't stayed in a Florida hotel in this millennium (apart from one night pre-cruise in Miami) I have very little input on here in respect of WDW hotels and theme parks.

However I do cheat on stuff like villas, benefits of car hire in a villa and restaurants around Highgate Park. I have some regular replies saved in Word which I update now and again.

I've even started posting a bit more on Alamo skip the counter and toll plazas again recently. Sadly the VTP at MCO is still suspended so I can't talk about that now.
