UK specific deals
Hi all,
Considering stay on-site for the first time ever and weighing up what possible options are. Most sites I've read are from a US perspective when talking about looking out for discounts and not paying "rack rate", but it also seems that UK guests have usually got slightly different deals from the piecemeal information I have gathered. So I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has recent experience of specific deals we get offered and what these have tended to have been? (If any!) I've only really started looking at another trip since around June this year, so obviously there's been no discounts on rooms on-site and lots of info at present is related to the pandemic and impacts on upcoming travel which has made these finding out myself quite tricky. Hope this all makes sense and that I have this question in the right place, happy to delete and put somewhere else if need be. |

Usually there’s already a free dining plan offer out for the following year but Covid has put paid to any offers. We have no idea what’s going to happen now.

This! I don’t expect any offers really until 2022 depending on what’s happening with covid but am (perhaps naively) hoping for free dining to return in 2022 although I’m not very confident of it happening. Personally we wouldn’t stay onsite without free dining because it’s not good value for us.

Thanks guys
It seems the Free Dining is the one that pops up most, they didn't tend to offer reduced hotel room rates ore-covid then? I've seen mention that we also don't have to pay parking at resorts but nothing concrete about that |

No but you do have to pay to park at the resorts now. Parking at the parks is free

Yes usually there was some sort of free nights or room discount offered after free dining ended. Again, no one has any clue what will happen with room rates.
You do have to pay parking at the resorts. They may reconsider that if bookings are down but really it’s a total unknown. |

Exactly. It’ll all depend on so many things there’s just no way to know.
