Mum & Daughters Cheeky NYC Trip

Hi Everyone

Always started pre trippie and never managed to follow through - Im hoping this time will be different.

We are very lucky to have this trip together although the circumstances that have lead us here are unbearable

My beautiful dad passed away in july from a long fight with cancer and mum wants to be able to do things that they wanted to see and do so NYC came about

I know my dad would be smiling thinking of us taking this trip together, he would be putting his ear plugs I about now as me and mum have that thing called ' gift of the gab'

Next - Who and How

The ' WHO' part of the trip

We are mother and daughter, best friends really. My mum is a huge part of my life, growing up she was my escape from the bullies, during my babies she was the escape from PND, she has always been there. We have become even closer during my dads illness and the loss of him.

Me - Lynsey (Daughter) -
28 - Mother, Wife, Nurse, Love of Disney and cities and travel planning
I have visited NYC on my honeymoon (2011) and cannot wait to explore it again, this time from a different view point
Main planner, mum will leave all the booking and planning to me this can be both exciting and stressful as im such a planner and mum just goes with the flow.

Sandra (mum)

Mother, Nanna and wonderful all around person
First visit to NYC. Happy to go along with the flow. Used to being around me and staying in closer quarters. We all did our Disney holiday in 2013, and also very blessed to be doing NYC and Disney in the same year

I am sorry to hear about your dad, times like that do make you rethink priorities and look at life with a new sense of appreciation!

I look forward to reading your report

And actually I am about to do mine, which is strangely similar to yours!
