I think it’s wise for them to have had their first jabs first but other than that, taking a baby is a breeze!

Our DS was just 8 weeks old when we took him on his first visit to Florida. Although it was over 20 years ago, I still remember it as being far easier than we expected it to be. We even took him on a Boggy Creek airboat ride - the ear protectors looked massive on his tiny head!

We went with my brother and his family when my niece was5 months. She had an absolute ball and it didn’t seem to phase my sil in anyway. The boys were 3 and 6 and they were scared of far more than her.
She loved the characters and tons of people interacted with her. Some of my photos of her are just fantastic.

Our youngest would have been 4 (other 2 were 5 and 8) had we gone in 2020. Pretty much because that was when we'd saved up enough to go, if we could have afforded to go when our kids were younger we would have. We went to Disneyland Paris when they were 5.5, 2.5 and 1 and had a brilliant time. We did it as part of a longer holiday in France and i'd say the Disney portion was the least stressful part of the holiday tbh! We just went at their pace and didn't put pressure on ourselves to do everything Only thing i'd mention is if Orlando is a once in a lifetime/many years holiday it might be better to wait until the kid is 4 or 5 so they can go on a good amount of rides

Sorry I haven't got time to reply to all of the replies. But I have read them and it sounds like everyone had a lovely time taking their babies to Orlando xx

I'm currently pregnant, my baby girl is due around the 20th of July. I'm thinking of taking her to Orlando for disney this Christmas, do you think that's a good idea? Or should I go early 2022? And do you think I should book before she is born? I'm thinking of waiting until she is born first.

Christmas is great weather wise for a baby. Just make sure you pack the rain cover for the pram. It is very crowded at that time of year.

Whether you book or not is down to preference. If you wait prices may increase but on the flip side if you book now and can't travel you may lose out. Some airlines are very good at refunding in exceptional circumstances though.

As an aside, if you plan on traditional weaning rather than baby-led, I'd hold off starting until you come home. That way you wouldn't need to deal with all the pureeing, storage, etc.

10 weeks, was a brilliant holiday.
I had a soft buckle carrier which she loved being in.
Ds was 3 1/2 at the time and I took our Phil and teds inline double so when asleep she would go in that too.

I can't decide between Christmas and January, I've been with my 17 year old daughter (when she was 10 and 14) for Christmas and know it's crowded so not sure about that with a buggy.

And I really don't know if i plan on booking before she's born or after!
