How disappointing, a chat with a chat show host?
Thought 100% that it was an episode, so they are not even in ‘character’? ☹️ Or was that just a trailer with a real episode to follow?

Ive seen the papers saying it was an unscripted episode, and I wasnt keen on that idea! But now Ive read on here about it being a chat show, the quotes in the articles make sense... not for me and Ive seen friends over and over.

I was sad to find out that it wasn't an episode however I have watched the trailer and it made me feel a bit emosh. I grew up watching them and they have such an amazing bond still.

I know a lot of people were hoping for an episode and some were spreading rumours about it maybe being an episode, but the people involved have always made it clear that it's just a chat. For example, this article from back in February 2020 states that this was going to be an unscripted chat show and that "the Friends reunion special has a similar [chat show] format planned, with all six cast members returning to Stage 24, the sitcom’s original WarnerBros soundstage, to reminisce on the show". independent/arts-e...-a9354841.html
