Disney dining plan is back for 2021 & Free dining plan 2022

The dining plan is back for 2021 …….. at least on the US Disney website.

However I just looked at the dining page on the U.K. website and noticed on the blue highlighted space it says FREE Disney dining plan in 2022.

Was this there before ?

I only see the dining credit offer when going through the UK site. I suspect you may have stumbled on a page that wasn't updated properly.

Hmm this is v exciting. I just went to have a look on UK website but the blue box just says about the dining credit for me, and at the top of the page it says dining plans are not available. I wonder if it's a glitch?
Maybe I'm looking in a different place?
I do so hope it's coming back especially if it's free! 🤞

I've been on the VPN to check the US site and it's just the dining plan info page that's always been there. No prices, no ordering option enabled, no start date mentioned. Think the article is clickbait tbh. We know dining plans are coming back but there's been no timeframe set by Disney.

ETA: Managed to find the WDTC page you were on, they've updated the top offer but not the bottom. Think it's just an oopsie that they missed changing for the new offer, it should be the same blue bar that's on the main dining plan page. I'd love to be wrong for all of you hoping for it though.

Was advised by a Disney Guest Services last week they were likely to be bringing it back. The lady explained there is currently a cut off for their recent offer but provided you start your holiday before then cut of date then you while holiday will be counted on the offer. The new dining plan offer will start after the Halloween celebrations in November next year from what I understand. Hope this is of help.

Oh Poop ! Thanks for checking …… I got really excited when I saw it

Chip and Co is a reputable Disney website so I think there is probably something in the news but dates and prices would be good.

Dining plans coming back has been known for awhile but no dates or prices have been said. I would be really surprised after offering the dining credits offer for 2022 that anything changes in regards to free ddp for 2022.

Can you imagine that amount of people that have already booked that would be upset if a new different, better offer came out? I don’t see why Disney would do a new offer for us. Loads are booking with the offer already as shown by the room categories selling out like at POFQ. I can’t see them changing the offer for existing bookings either. Why as a business give us extra after already booking?

I think all it will be is the paid ddp coming back and maybe if you have the dining credits offer you may have a way to upgrade. Happy to be proved wrong but not the first time the website hasn’t been updated properly.
