Well done Robyn I still held on. I was expecting it. Does this mean BA will refund me or will they still fly? I'm not going in the Travelodge It's BA Holidays not flight only.

They should refund. It’s quite a challenge getting hold of BA Holidays though, I had quite the run around 🥴 try them on Twitter or Facebook messenger and they respond quite quick. As you’re due to travel soon they should be able to help you on there.

Not soon enough! I was enquiring about my ticket that hadn't been reissued and told they can only help on FB/Twitter if travel is after the 16th And I want to book something else. I was half expecting it so not tears, just trying to find something else

Just got out of the cinema, and had people tweet me the news.

Hopefully our plans are still on track.

Just need a negative test next Monday to get into the US.

Our plane was full, so many families whose plans have gone pear shaped now.

And our bad luck continues! We were supposed to be landing on Sunday morning at 11am after only being out of Mexico for a week. Our choice was to stay on for another 4 days or to fly back a day early. There's just too much to sort out at home so we managed to get through to Virgin and coming back a day early. Gutted, as we feel like we've hardly been here at all.
