It’s easy to walk there but I’d onl6 do it before the heat kicks in during the day or it’d be a killer

Easy enough walk but a better option is to walk to Endless Summer and get the bus from there to Citywalk. When coming back do the same in reverse.

It can still get pretty hot in the sun in Feb. It certainly isn't a scenic or pleasant walk but doable.

As the others have said, it's certainly doable in February but unpleasant to do in summer. We've done it a couple of times in the past. Not from the Enclave Suites though; we got the I-Ride bus to outside Wet'n'Wild (when it was there) and then walked up Universal Blvd to the bus drop off area, up the escalator and then along the moving walkways into CityWalk.

From where Wet'n'wild used to be (now the Endless Summer Resort) it's about a 20 minute walk or so.

you can have both instead of the nice weather you build your plans on

for the logistics and route itself, definitely doable. But that's not something I would do.

this is assuming that not too many people do that, and lead universal to start room key checks for the buses.

Also assuming they don't do that right from the start.

Shuttle buses from other hotels on I-Drive will often check that riders are staying at that hotel, so Endless Summer might do the same.

I was raised in Scotland so miserable, pouring down, and chilly is about the norm for me Good point though. If the weather wasn't playing ball I'd just drive

We'll be staying at Endless Summer next year without a car. Are there restaurants and shops in walking distance from there? Just considering eating and transport options. Thanks.

there are quite a fair number of restaurants on idrive (a lot actually lol)

you could also get an Iride trolley pass (shuttle bus that runs up and down idrive if you don't want to walk)
