Yes, it's immaculate. Was dreading it a bit as the old airport didnt have such a great reputation. This is fine however.

Had a lovely time, split was amazing, it was really useful to have your trippie from split as a guide.

On balance however I think we found split, esp in the palace area a bit too busy for us, Trogir was busy in the day too, but seems a tad less hectic. Trogir was much quieter in the evenings, however suspect split was too! Split had coach loads of cruise passengers on walking tours everywhere. So travelled like a pack of animals down the very narrow alleyways. Was a bit much for mum as they pushed past her a lot.

Would happily return to both though.

Glad you got a seat in Split airport , we couldn’t in June Great improvement then 😂

We didn’t find Split too busy (but we like city breaks) and didn’t notice too many cruise tours (thankfully) but I do agree that Trogir was far more laid back and perfect for a relaxing break but also had lots to see and places of interest there. I could happily stay at either 😀 We actually found Split a bit busier at night as there are a lot of bars and clubs there so Trogir is definitely less hectic

We have also said we would like to try the Porec region on another trip one day. Hope you have a good flight home, you may need a cardi on landing it’s not so warm here in Wales this morning 😀
