British Airways has some decent prices for Universal Hotels in July/August next year, they definitely did for my dates-just waiting for their actual flight prices to come down! Royal Pacific was showing at £230 for a night which is better than I paid this year and £277 for 3 nights at Cabana Bay. I think you will be fine without the express passes but it’s always nicer to have them for those 2 days to avoid wait times. Travelbag seemed to have the best deals online this year when I checked, unless you have Tesco Club card points which should get the hotels for a good price.

Cabana Bay is a really lovely hotel and even better that you can walk straight into Volcano Bay for the early morning entry. The parks will probably be a bit busier for you as we were there right at the end of July going into August, the crowds and wait times weren’t as bad as I expected them to be this year. So ignore my last post to maybe you probably should book a hotel to get the express passes

I desperately wish flight prices would go down and then I’d know definite dates. I’m basing my dates on the current prices of flights on which days of the week. Currently, it’s cheaper to fly Tuesday 21st than the Wednesday. We are booked in our villa from the 25th so really it’s just whether to book from the 21st or 22nd I need to decide.

Let’s hope prices drop soon! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’ve just booked cabana bay for next May. We are doing 6 nights and then 2 at hrh.

Cheapest by far was Orlando Attractions. We have a family suite which was £1025.
Virgin was £1203, hotels.com 1233.
Only advantage of virgin is the free parking.
Bonus is it’s only a £50 deposit and pay rest 10 weeks before I think.
Virgin’s deposit was £700!

I know I’m so impatient to get mine booked too! Orlando Attractions have great rates and apparently Florida Escapes posted this morning that they have reduced Universal rates so they may be better than BA.

Thanks. I’ll have a look at them. I’ve booked my universal/Disney tickets through them as they were the cheapest.

They are very very helpful, booked two Disney hotel only trips with them. Did quite a few changes and never a problem.
Wouldn’t hesitate to book with them not to mention they are usually the cheapest.
