Annual pass upgrade - parking question

If I upgrade to the annual preferred pass and my husband drives can I use my pass for the free parking (or does it have to be him?)

It's easier if I have the annual pass as I will be ordering the food in the parks, and buying merchandise etc

It is fine for the passenger to be the one with the AP. Do make sure you always bring your photo ID though

We upgraded my husbands and I used it for parking merchandise food etc but he was always in the car they always asked for ID for parking
