we did it for the second time this August (non swim this time) - easily our best day of the holiday . I had envisaged spending all day reading on the sun lounger but spent most of it in the reef part and it was just so nice for one day not having to think about money !

I had an amazing day there last year and am going again a week Saturday! I fly out to Orlando next Monday and my DC day is half way through the trip. I can't wait

When we go this year it will be our 3rd visit there, as mentioned its nice and chilled, not overcrowded and the interactions with the mantas etc is amazing.
Its one of the highlights of the trip

There's usually a 'blue friday' deal for DC on Black Friday in November, which can be a bargain if going during the peak times of year.
I actually think that DC tickets are pretty good value as you can get entry into Seaworld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens included. |

It took me a few years to persuade Mr W but we fell in love with it
(1) It's practically a no spend day with the amount of food and the parking included. (2) It's peaceful, you can go at your own speed (3) If dolphins aren't your thing, we can recommended both Seaventure and the Shark encounter. We were one of the first to do the Shark Encounter. (4) We also received feeding the birds, the lazy river and the water around the marmosets, it's never busy there and the sloth encounters. |
