Universal tickets - short stay

Hi bit out of the loop as not been since 2016 but gonna be staying in Orlando for 3 nights next April en route to Miami and the Keys. Staying at the Aventura as just want to go to the Universal Parks and Volcano Bay. Found a two park one day ticket for US and IoA on the Universal website for $170 then a one day pass for VB for $80 - would that be the cheapest way to go?

I would add a couple of points.

1 Don't forget the tax, that adds on about $16
2 The $170 is a 'from' price, and you can only check on the official site up to the end of December 2019.

This means the cheapest you are likely to get is about £215, at today's exchange rate.

You can get a 14 day 3 park ticket for 2020 for £288 from any of the many UK sites, so it would really depend if you wanted to be able to squeeze a second day in US/IOA? If not then I would buy the 1-day tickets, as you will probably be saving around £50 as an estimate.

I can see up to April 2020 on Universal's website:

The price goes up to $190 for the weeks around Easter. It's $170 Mon-Thurs at the end of April.

Thanks all! Not going to be there until the 25/26th so that looks like $180 plus the VB charge plus tax... worth it! They were still building VB last time we were there so really looking forward to seeing that!

Thanks for this, I have had a couple of issues looking at prices on Aquatica for Cabanas and thought it strange they only went up to December. Will try a different web browser and see if that makes a difference.

*EDIT*

I can confirm it appears to be a browser issue, as I can go to April if I use Chrome, but only December if I use Safari

Ah, I was using Firefox at the time and that worked. So it looks like a problem with Safari then.

Also check undercovertourist to compare prices as they are mostly slightly cheaper for the 1 Day Park to Park tickets. See below.

From undercovertourist

Universal 1-Day Park-to-Park Ticket - Value $175.95

Universal 1-Day Park-to-Park Ticket - Regular $183.42

Universal 1-Day Park-to-Park Ticket - Anytime $194.18

from universalorlando/web...s/park-tickets

1-Day Value Season Park-to-Park Ticket $181.05

1-Day Regular Season Park-to-Park Ticket $191.70

1-Day Anytime Season Park-to-Park Ticket $202.35

All the above prices from both sites include tax.
