How low do I go!
Ok, so I’m looking at flights and a stay for 2020.
We generally go every two years, stay onsite at Disney and universal and have lots of treats... and a pricey holiday. Last year we got a last minute school holiday deal for £700 each (flights/apartment). It was great off site, loved a bit of exploring and for what we paid was really pleased! So decided that maybe next year (on our year we’re not going 😂 we could try and get another cheapish deal. I’d really like to get at least flights booked as soon as we can rather than last minute though. Generally I’ve paid around £700 - 800 for flights peak school hols. At the moment they are at £650 plus luggage. (Direct) Tempted by indirect as about £500 plus baggage, although obviously prefer the direct one. Just wondering how low these flights may go...am I going to get it much cheaper or should I just accept they’ll be this price. I’m using sky scanner, kayak and Expedia to search. BA, Norwegian, Virgin and Thomas Cook seem to be the ones coming up. I see lots of people saying they get flights for £300/400 but I’ve never seen that for peak holiday time. However I’ve only ever booked 16 months in advance or 2 weeks before we go! Any advice? Thank you 🥰 DDD

Difficult to say without knowing when you want to go and where from.
We paid £1800 for 4 including a Chevy Tahoe in the school holidays last year booking 9 months in advance, that was EDI-LHR-MIA so taking the car into account we paid less than £300 each for the flights. Edited at 09:42 PM. |

Wowser, that’s an amazing price! 11th July onwards and preferably from Manchester but would go Gatwick if the price was right.

We did get £300 flights last year. That was in the school holidays. But it’s a gamble if they will be available. There is certainly no guarantee.
Generally I look for £500 as a good price. I try not to pay more than that. |
