A very quick update
He has the full neck and back brace on now out of bed standing up for a minute and he was knackered after that eating now
Speech clearer but short term memory still very poor
He's very quiet not him at all he's normally like a budgie on speed
He's lost so much weight under 8 st even with the brace on
His pneumonia is getting better butbweight loss and kidney / bowel function still concerning
But he did manage to,play cards dominos and remember all,the pieces
And where they go on a chess board he's always been good with numbers etc
But he can't read anything but we aren't too worried about that at the minute he has dyslexia like me so brain retraining on that might need to go back to,basics
Can't thank,the NHS enough his brace alone as it's custom made runs in to,the £100 s

Some very positive improvement there, great to hear. Hopefully the next update will show improvement in some of the areas that are still concerning. I hope you are still getting the help from your lovely neighbours and are able to get the time to look after yourself as well as looking after everyone else.
