Mobile How many bath and bodyworks 3 wick candles

Does everyone get away with taking home? I have 2 so far plus 3 body scrubs and a lotion. Worried about the weight, but want to buy 2 more candles!

Not sure anybody can really help you as it depends how much luggage allowance you have.

In the past we have brought home 10 large Yankee candles and a ton of food. We were flying PE though and had 64kg each luggage allowance.

You need to invest in some digital luggage scales which we did about 10 years ago.

When I start to get stressed about the growing B&BW pile on the spare bed (and other stuff as well ) we can do a test weigh - and then go get more.

Joan is always sure that we are well short weight wise - and after a test she's always right.

Get the scales with a small strap that you can collect loads of shop bags on.

If your flying with BA you will be fine, we had 12 candles in our cabin luggage last December.

I have only dared to bring 2 back... but that's more due to me taking way too much stuff out there and worrying about not having enough space for every thing!

Just make sure that you put them in your hold luggage - I put some Yankee Candles in my hand luggage a few years ago and when my bag went through the x-ray machine, it was stopped and searched. The security lady was absolutely lovely and said she guessed it was a candle (apparently, this happens a lot!) but showed me what it looks like to them on the screen on the x-ray scanner - it looks like an explosive! Anyway, after the search and confirmation that they were innocent candles, I was sent on my way.

Next time we went, I put some candles in my hold luggage and when I got home, there was a note in my case saying that it had been searched (I assumed it was down to the candles). But, coming home from California this year, I had candles in my case and it wasn't searched. So maybe it was just a random check?

Oh, also - I bought some digital scales from Primark for my last trip. They were only about £4 and matched the airport scales almost perfectly, so definitely a good idea!

Same here, we flew home in November with Ba and had 2 carry on cases full of candles. Although we got stopped at security (mco), candles were swabbed and i had a full body check.we are planning to do the same again this year😁 the lady was really nice and we discussed what she like to take back when she visits the uk. For us b&bw 3 wick candles are the best

And it will pretty much be B&BW and food haha

Hi, I’ve tried to import them before and I think each candle weighs just under 1kg. It’s cheaper going to Florida than trying to import! 😊
