Which sites are the best for searching and booking Florida villas?

I often use something like Home Away - which has great search tools - but then try to find the villa's management company or private listing and book direct. It tends to work out better for both the owner and renter to book that way (though happy for owners to set me straight on that.)

You can always put a post on here stating what you’re looking for and when in the villa section. If I can’t find a villa for my dates on here I would look at vr360homes. Remember if you’re booking direct to look at the ‘villa checks’ thread and make sure all is above board with the villa and owner you are booking with.

I looked at so many villas and all the different sites in the end I booked a DIBB villa I was able to contact owner and it really helped put my mind at rest we all can’t wait to stay there

We have booked a few through home away. You can search for large areas ie Kissimmee or a particular community such as Windsor Hills. You can then filter no. of bedrooms etc. Pool, games rooms and BBQ are some of the filters we use to narrow the search.

We have had good service from Holidaylettings.co.uk (part of Tripadvisor).

It is easy to get direct contact with the owner and we have now used them on 5 occasions, US wide.

Importantly, when an owner sold from under me and cancelled my booking 4 weeks out (and that can happen to any person using any company), they were great with communication and offering good alternatives. Needless to say, this good service has ensured my continued loyalty.
