Bath is the best I’ve been to and it’s all British goods so a change from the other German type markets

I went to the ones in Belfast last December and really enjoyed those. It was a lovely place to visit for a weekend too.

I live in Lincoln too and totally agree that the market has gone right down hill ☹️ off to York this year 😉

We are visiting Bath market this year. I have heard really good things about it and can’t wait!

I live in Bath and the xmas market is very very very popular! I am the most christmassy person ever, but like every other Bath resident I will be avoiding the city centre during the xmas market period! 😂

Bath is definitely the best one. I've been to Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds etc and they're just overpriced mass produced tat repeated stall after stall. Bath is actually different stalls with independent sellers. Because it's spread out over a few streets/squares it never feels as horrifically crowded as well. Tried to do Leeds on a Saturday once with my mum, never again. You just ended up being carried in this crowd of people not being able to get near any of the stalls and desperate to get out.

Thank you all for the replies I am thinking of Bath maybe and as I will go in the week it hopefully won't be too busy

I did think of Belfast as I just love that city but I can't be bothered with the airport/flights

Any other suggestions are very welcome

Bath is quietest if you can get there for quite early (as in 9-9.30) or later in the evening, otherwise its packed all through the day.
It is lovely though, the smells are amazing!
