My DS was 10 when we went this year for his first trip (our 2nd). He had a blast. Loved the rides, loved Crystal Palace and he's well past pooh bear 😀
Honestly I think at any age there's something special for them.

Our children were 9 and 10 the first time we took them and my biggest regret is not taking them when they were younger. We did take them to DLP when they were 4 and 5, but they don't really remember it. This year will be our 6th WDW trip and they'll be 16 and 18 and still love Disney. We won't be going to US as they're really not bothered about it, but there would be mutiny if we didn't go to Disney!
