Rory Stewart, a man who repeatedly campaigned and voted for the Withdrawal Agreement is now hated by Brexit fans? Who knew?

He was the only person who came close to convincing me leaving might be a sensible way forward - he pitched May's deal as everyone losing something, that way the country might find a way to reunite. To compromise.

A brave, principled man with great integrity, unlike either of our Glorious Leaders.

I agree. Unfortunately May’s deal united both sides of those holding extreme views in voting against it but for totally different reasons.

I think the only exemption is a diplomatic passport...and rightly so. I wouldn't want any of the foreign politicians getting entry to Britain without the same rules as everyone else either.
