Am I the only person that hates politics?

I am just sick to death of it all. I wish there was an island somewhere you could go to avoid it all. Whether it's Brexit, Remain, Jeremy, Boris or Trump and the Democrats I have had enough. I know it's important but does it have to be everywhere?. Every singer, actor or comedian has to tell me their opinion too. Even Gary Lineker has got in on the act. Is it just me that hates it?

You are not alone. I no longer watch the news at all and it's been years since we bought a newspaper. Sick to death of it. You'd get more sense from a nursery class.

I dip in and out, usually listening to the radio rather than the news etc on the telly.

I don’t want to know what ‘celebs’ think about it.

I feel exactly the same, don’t watch the news anymore. Definitely don’t discuss Brexit with anyone, including my DH as we both voted opposite to each other (which has caused arguments 😔 ).

I do care about politics but feel it’s sll such a mess now there’s no point in watching the news.

You are not alone. I don’t understand it at all. I never know who to vote for, trust none of them and the word Brexit is banned in our house. I’m sick of it all.

Hate it because I’m fed up with it. Agree about non qualified (probably even less qualified than us to discuss it as they don’t live in the real world) celebrities like Lineker preaching to us.

Have to admit the only way I can describe the whole place ( in which so called political debate takes place) is as a pantomime. Total charade and so out of touch with the whole country.
Have just had a look at the front pages of tomorrow morning's newspapers and David Cameron is describing Michael Gove as a word beginning with W

First word of truth I have heard in politics for a few years

It used to be that politics wasn’t discussed on the Dibb, along with taking children out if school and ESTA problems concerning convictions.

Perhaps it’s time that van was brought back, as politics is something people will never agree on and will defend their position to the death.

Nope, I'm also getting really sick and tired of politics in everything too.
