Mobile I'm a lost cause!

We are having a new roof fitted. I have just made tea and while plating up biscuits for the roofers I have eaten a bourbon and a moo cow biscuit. I am supposed to be low carbing, I have no will power at all.

Sue. Why are you giving them biscuits?
I never accepted coffee off a customer and took a flask to work. If we have builders in I give them coffee and that's it.

You are far too generous.

I've heard of people making bacon sarnies for builders so I was feeling quite mean actually.

At this rate the biscuits will be gone before they get to the roofers!
My husband is a roofer and works hard, biscuits keep his strength up to go up and down ladders all day!
Sue, having work done on the house is stressful! A few biscuits will soon be burnt off!

Sue, Don't feel guilty because I've just eaten this whole pack to myself. My keep kit regime will resume this week.

Olga, Does he swear when roofing. I ask because a neighbour has been having an extension done and the builders have been as good as gold, but as soon as the roofers turn up it's non stop "F" this and "F" that?

What do you think? He’s not loud though! I sometimes think he’s got turretes!
In front of our grand daughters, he’s a saint!
My youngest son is an electrician, works at Canary Wharf mainly and another potty mouth!
I work in construction and it’s the common language. Although I rarely use bad language.

Fair enough. I generally find roofers and scaffolders the worst tradespeople for swearing. I am a good lad because even if I hurt myself in the presence of a customer I say "sugar." I am admittedly very posh for a tradesperson
