It must have been awful for you all to get that dreaded phone call, but thankful you had your daughter with you to help comfort your wife. So very sad.

Exhausting doing the parks with the grandchildren - we did that in May, and have an even busier trip planned for September I do hope you enjoy your next trip, and I've put The Wave on my list for next year.

I remember all the posts of mine which were derided because I criticised Disney food!

I hope your stay wasn't too spoilt.

Sorry to be pedantic but there is no way a burger could be oozing blood unless the animal was killed that day.

Very sad news. I certainly hope your next trip is less eventful and an improvement on some of the service / food and experiences you encountered.

Sorry to hear about your wife’s mum how awful for that to happen while you’re away from home.
I was thinking of booking a table at Nacooses but after reading your issues I think I’ll give it a miss! We’ve heard good things about Le Cellier, think we’ll try there. Great little trip report, thanks for sharing

That’s really well written Graham, I’m glad Sanaa and Longhorn didn’t let you down, you know we love them. Such a shame you had to cut your hols short, I didn’t realise. Hopefully you will have some complete down time when you return, you should come for Christmas so we can meet up! X

So sad your wife lost her mum, It was lucky she spoke to her the day before 😥How were the off site restaurants? Longhorns still up to standard?

Longhorns at Rolling Oaks always awesome. Vineland is hit and miss sadly. Easy way forward! Drive to RO.

Selina. We would jump at that like a long dog. Sadly we suspect late Nov is when the hip replacement is going to take place otherwise we would be there.

However we are back in May, August and November so will meet you then. Mmm, there are Miles flight for March so may slam another one in!

Such sad news, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Sounds like your granddaughter had a great first week though and the second week with her mum. Prayers and thoughts go to you, your wife and the extended family. Hopefully your next trip in 7 weeks will help with the healing process.
