Busch gardens with a terrified kid
Hello, we are going to Florida in July 2020 with a Disney 14 day ticket and we wanted to venture out a little bit... it’s myself, my girlfriend and her two sons who will be 9 and 12 when we travel.. the 12 year old will go on pretty much any rollercoaster, but the 9 year old is terrified of pretty much all fast or dark rides.. so I was wondering what there is for small kids in this case? I know they have a lot of animals, but we’ll be going to animal kingdom... so is it worth going as a family or just me and the eldest driving through to Busch gardens?
Do they have any special queue systems where parents can swap? I don’t think my girlfriend is too fussed about going to Busch, but it would be good to keep the family together |

There are a couple of good shows they could watch and it might be worth booking an animal experience for the younger child. We fed the giraffes which was quite reasonable if I remember rightly.

Water rides were the only rides I did at BG , their coasters looked way scarier than Disney's but we still had a full day and minimal queues so you don't have to inflict a day of queues onto the kid either

I went to Busch Gardens for the first time this July. I don’t do rollercoasters but had a fab day.
I paid $40 each to go on the safari where you feed the giraffe and it was worth every penny. We filled our day easily looking at the animals, the safari and eating!
