Arrived tonight after a long delay and longer customs...

8 cars in std SUV. A couple of Hyundai's, a few kias and a couple dodge journeys. Went with a white dodge. So far so good.

Please can I ask... is a midsize suv from Alamo a completely different range of cars than the standard or intermediate classes, or is it classed as one of these groups? Thank you all

It will be Intermediate.

However all the companies have different classifications albeit they all use the Acriss codes such as FCAR etc

Oh dear! I’ll have to stop reading posts, they put me in a panic.
DS(our car expert) isn’t coming with DD and I this time
DD is going to drive she had a go last year - didn’t like it but needs must.
We’ve got an Alamo Nissan Rogue intermediate SUV ordered. Is that ok? 2 adults plus luggage. Then during the holidays a fold up wheelchair.
They could fob us off with a wheel barrow and I wouldn’t know the difference.

It will be a Nissan Rogue or similar. If in doubt check the code in the window - Mr Tomorrow will be able to tell you what that should be for an int suv.

EDIT... think its IFAR

ELLENUT is correct. An Intermediate SUV is an IFAR.

That row tends to be full of the correct category vehicles so you should be fine. Just look at the back bumper first as you walk up the row. The less suitcase damage the younger the car tends to be albeit not infallible!
The Acriss code IFAR will be on the bar code and the key fob so you can check you haven't picked the wrong category.

Does anyone know if the Santa FEs offered in the Standard SUV are the newer XL (seven seater) or the 5 seater (previously known as the Sport).
There are only 4 of us so don't need the 7 seats but the extra room is handy. If they don't have the XLs then maybe Kia Sorrento or Dodge Journey may be bigger.
