Bahama Bay Resort and Spa
Hi all,
So I have been talked into going back next year by the family but as it's just us 4 this time, we cannot afford a villa and have booked a very reasonable stay at Bahama Bay. I know this resort isnt one of the most recently built ones, and is a little further out than others, but does look a nice place to stay. So I guess the question is, how nice is the resort, is it dated at all and what are peoples general opinions of the place / recent reviews of stays. I have done a quick DIBB search and most are positive, but didnt find anything recent. I have a refundable deposit down, so worst case... Thanks in advance all.

We stayed there a few years back, booked with BahamaBayLisa on here. It's a good resort, with a handy restaurant on site. A few pools dotted around which never seemed busy. Would happily stay there again.

Thanks for the response. Good to hear its positive. We usually stay at Sunset Lakes, so its not too much further out than we are used to. We like the 192 area as there is so much choice for restaurants and the proximity to Disney.

I'm going back there in 10 days, been there 4 times, this is 5th. Always has a great time, nice and peaceful, large Condos with lovely screened balcony. Wifi in all areas now, it was refurbished a few years ago.
A few minutes drive to lots of restaurants and Cagans Crossing Walmart. |

We stayed there for two weeks at the end of July. Whilst the complex itself was nice, our apartment was not well looked after, with numerous things needing repairing or updating, but of course this is down to the owners.
The two big pools weren’t busy during the day, but busy in the evenings, with limited places to sit around the pool. One concerning thing was the gates - they were manned into the complex most of the time during the day (or use the telecom to reception), but at night times the gates were left open and the office was empty.

We stayed last year at a condo from Bahamabaylisa on here. Really enjoyed it, great pools, friendly staff, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

Sorry to hear the apartment wasn't good. Most of the apartments are privately owned, so Bahama Bay have little control over the state of some of the condos.
