Minnie - apologies if this has been suggested as I haven't read the whole thread - Justified was ding dong, Timothy Olyphant is Raylan Givens a Marshall who returns to his home town of Harlan, Kentucky - Walton Scoggins also stars along with others you'll recognise. We enjoyed it so much that we returned to the beginning and watched it all again I recommended it to a friend who emailed me and said he'd watched a few episodes and just wasn't 'getting it', I asked him to stick with it and got another email blaming me for not telling him about Justified much earlier, got him, hook, line and sinker

Deadwood was also brilliant but the language was incredibly ripe - Ian McShane plays Al Swearengen, and he truly puts swearen into the character, Timothy Olypant is the Sheriff, Robin Weigert is Calamity Jane, a foul mouthed raging alcoholic, Robin plays Jane in an excellent, sad and funny, role. It's a western town in a gold prospecting area, it's violent, it's funny (Swearengen and the Chinese man is always laugh out loud) and it's an excellent watch. We were bereft when it finished and purely by chance I noticed Deadwood, Welcome the F*** Back, movie earlier this year, it was excellent, had all original cast and tied off loose ends from the TV show.

Thoroughly enjoying Carnival Row at the moment.. it’s very interesting and different. There are some great actors and actresses working on this too. It’s on Amazon tv. I need more great programs like this one👍🥰

Designated survivor, The OA or Stranger things are all good If you prefer something lighter, The Crown is also good

Hiya Min, we've tried to get into Breaking Bad a couple of times but based on reviews we may need to be more positive with our trying Watched 15 mins of the Walking Dead, gave up the will to live, leaking bodily fluid zombies don't ring bells here.

The Soprano's was funny at times... is he the pitcher or the catcher... laughed our backs off We're oddballs with our choices, from Deadwood and Justified to Downton Abbey, nowt as queer as folk!
