We were there 2 weeks ago for the second time and we’ve been checking the price for March.
It’s a good hotel for the price, we really enjoyed both our stays there

Not saying it doesn’t happen but

The Rosen Plaza is the hotel that is used for Dreamflight - BA's charity that takes children with a serious illness or disability to Orlando for the holiday of a lifetime. The owner Harris Rosen is a great supporter of the charity and a really nice guy.
So if anyone is staying at Rosen Plaza from 27th October to 4th November watch out for them and give them a wave - who knows you might be waving at me as I am volunteering for a couple of days when they are there. |

Definitely worth £100 more over 16 nights! We have stayed at both, The Plaza is way way nicer. Nicer rooms which are clean, modern and bright as you actually have a window that you can use. The rooms at the RI are standard dingy motel rooms as you can't have the curtains open. The one plus of the rooms at the RI is that they have a microwave in the room- however there is a really nice communal microwave and toaster area at the Plaza. It includes cutlery, napkins, sauces, everything you could want.
The general hotel itself at the Plaza is way nicer too and at the risk of sounding snobby has a nicer clientele. Lots of conference visitors so they tend to behave themselves. The pool is nicer at the Plaza, however often very busy and we did experience the problem of people from the RI using it. Which I think is darn cheeky- you didn't pay to stay at this hotel or use the pool! We know they were from the RI as they were a very large, disruptive group in the pool and shouting loudly about 'when are we going back to our hotel? I'll see you over there at D block!' etc. I also fail to understand the very hot hot tub they have next to the pool as a PP said lol- why on earth would you want that in Florida?! Although we did see people in it. We paid £60pn at the Plaza vs £40pn at the RI and it was worth the difference. Edited at 10:36 AM. |

Well I'm thrilled because I was about to book with 1 agent for the Plaza 16 nights (the £100 more than Pointe quote) with flights from Manchester blah blah but then another agent came back to me with a quote cheaper than the Pointe quote! So I am HAPPY.

Well its even more of a no brainer haha.
There's a CVS right next to the Plaza (between it and the RI) which is good for snacks and drinks. A little pricier than say Wal-Mart but convenient. Dave and Busters a few mins walk up the road for entertainment, and loads of restaurants. The Pointe opposite has a really good cinema with huge leather recliners! You can walk to the Icon360 park in around 15-20 mins and the pirate mini golf place is on the way. So much to do in that area of IDrive we always come back with regrets that we missed things! We'll make it to that mini golf one day haha |

We are here at the Plaza at the moment for our first week.
Having stayed at Rosen @ Pointe before I would definitely always book Plaza now. Everything within easy walk on I drive. Discounts on food in the hotel, ok for a quick coffee and pastry as you leave for the parks. We have a king sized room, 1349, which faces towards Disney which is great for watching fireworks late in an evening if we are in the room.

Plaza (and Centre) are a class above Pointe / International / Inn.
All are good but the facilities are far better at the first two |
