Hertz Car Hire

Hi

I have gone for Hertz for next August which is the first time i would of used them. I have joined the Gold Plus so am just wondering does this enable me to go straight to the garage/booth to collect the car?

I am also going to add the fuel and need to pay locally so am guessing i can do this at the garage booth or will i need to go to the main counter?

Im guessing they are like Avis and you get allocated a vehicle?

BTW im picking up form Tampa so assume it will be the same at MCO

Thanks

I hired from Hertz but mco, I also signed up for gold and went straight to the garage. They assigned me a car which you can see in the hertz app prior to collection, I asked to change to my preffered car and it was done straight away with no fuss.

I paid for fuel before picking up the car but this was direct from Hertz.

Picked mine up last Thursday - also gold plus.

Hertz are one floor up in the garage above Alamo, just go up the escalator after crossing the road to the garage.

As you go up the escalator you will see a board - your name should be on there with a lot number. Just go to the car and drive to the exit. You pay for the file at the exit barrier kiosk -simple.

Agree with above - emailed arrived when I was in baggage - told the car type and where to pick up (ie space number [x]).

Paid for fuel at the booth on exit.

I normally like to book with Alamo through andy, but Alamo are coming out really expensive, so booked hertz through andy, even though they’re toll cost more I’m saving loads.

You can pre pay for fuel when you book if you change your preferences on the website.
