Taking luggage to a restaurant
Hi,
So, on our last day before we fly I would like to go for a late lunch. Im trying to squeeze in Cracker Barrel and there is one, seven minutes away from the airport. BUT ive realised theres a problem as we will be checking out of Cabana Bay that morning, no hire car so will have our cases with us What to do? Forget Cracker Barrel? Don't think we can get to the airport and drop bags off then go for dinner as I would worry we might miss the flight. Other than take our 3 cases with us it would mean leave them at Cabana Bay, taxi to Cracker Barrel, then taxi back to CB to pick them up again then taxi back to airport Any other suggestions? |

Sounds like your causing yourself hassle for Cracker Barrel.
Dont take your luggage to the restaurant, especially 3 cases. Its to expensive to leave your luggage at the hotel to have to go back again. The easiest way is to check in early and then grab an Uber, but you risk delays. Are you going to Disney as there are 2 near there

I don't understand why dropping the bags first will make you miss your flight anymore than sitting with your bags? I don't know who you're flying with, but American Airlines often have kerbside drop before you even get into the terminal. It seems quite simple to check your bags, then uber back to Cracker Barrel. Just make sure that there's room in your handluggage for those last minute purchases!

Why can't you go to the airport a bit earlier to drop your bags?
Just leave earlier than you were planning, drop your bags and go back to Cracker Barrel. Otherwise, leave them at hotel and go somewhere close by then collect bags and head to airport.

I don’t think you can reasonably expect to take luggage to a restaurant, imagine if all the patrons did that. You can achieve your goals of eating at a Cracker Barrel and not missing the flight if you set off early enough.
Personally I couldn’t be bothered with the going and froing, so I would either eat at the airport or eat at my own hotel before I go to the airport. |
