Mobile Port Orleans Riverside

Hi just booked to go to Riverside next year. Has anyone got any ideas of the best area to request. We want to be close to the first bus stop but not sure how long it would take to walk to the food and main pool area

Any thoughts?

The first bus station is near the food hall.
It is worth paying for the preferred rooms if thats the area you want, near all 3. Other wise building 16.

Just back from Riverside what a resort look we stayed in Acadian house which was near North depot but in all fairness spent most of the time getting bus from main stop (south depot) and in all honesty I really don't think it matters where you are you are not far away from all the action

To guarantee what you want then you should pay for a preferred room as they are location specific. The next nearest is building 16.

Unless you have 5 people so need the 5th sleeper room, you could request building 85 in Magnolia Bend. We stayed there earlier this year- there's a bus stop out the back of the building, but its also no more than a 5 minute walk to the main lobby area and first bus stop. From the entrance of the building (so depends where your room is) around a 3 minute walk to the main pool, with a smaller pool right next to the building.

I prefer the look of the Mansion buildings in Magnolia Bend over the Alligator Bayou rooms but that's just my personal taste. If you book a preferred room it will be in AB.

Totally agree! We've stayed in Magnolia Terrace (building 85) twice now and it's close to the East depot bus stop and a short walk over the bridge to the food court, main pool and reception.

POR is such a lovely resort, you're going to love it.
