Hertz - any opinions?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has used Hertz before and what there opinions were on them. I can get a 15% discount through work and at Easter they have prestige SUV's for around the 650 mark. Everyone one else seems to be sky high.

I used them 3 weeks ago from MCO, no hassle at all.

Sign up for gold service and go straight to the garage, they changed my car to the exact one I wanted without fuss, collection and pick took seconds. I bought a tank of fuel before hand so no selling at the desk or gate.

You get a email on the day telling you what car has been assigned and can also use the app to see.

It was a great experience.

I've used them for a dozen rentals over the last few years and they've been fine. No issues at all and all decent cars.

Used them a couple of times with no issues, would happily use again.
Do register for their gold club / preferred before you go. Think your spouse/partner automatically becomes a free additional driver and you get straight to garage collection from memory.
