We've booked a Virgin fly drive for August 22 into Miami. We like flying into Miami so I don't even look at Orlando prices.

I booked for a few reasons. One because I priced up how much we have paid for our fly drives since 2016 and they have consistently increased by about £300 per trip (other than 2019 because we went in October and took the kids out of school for a week so was much cheaper than August) The deal we have booked, was £300 more than what we had booked for 2020 that we obviously didn't go on, I thought £300 was fine seeing as all the others have increased by the same amount, and considering what has gone on over the last 12 months, I was expecting more of an increase.

We usually book with BA, but, was willing to take the risk with Virgin. I do think prices will increase, they may drop every now and again but I think supply & demand will have a big impact on the price. People will have had enough and want something booked, I can say now that we have something booked my mood has changed and i'm talking about holidays again, whereas before I didn't want to talk about them because everything was winding me up!

Just called them and they’ve quoted me £4691 for next May. This is without a car. Virgin are currently £4739 with a car, free parking and Disney springs check in so it’s a no brainer really. At the moment anyway!

Free parking where? What are you going to do?

Sorry I should have been more clear. We always stay at Cabana Bay Universal who charge between $18-$20 per night to park your car. If you book with Virgin, they offer it complimentary. BA do not. This saves us around $200+. Also Disney springs check in is a godsend for us.

Can anyone recall what the flight prices are usually like for late May-mid June? We'd be looking to go for 3 weeks with the 1 week school holiday in the middle so I'm sure that bumps the price up.

Thats a good price. VH are currently £650pp for May 19th - June 11th so similar dates but way more expensive.
