St Pete's Beach Hotel recommendations

We are looking at spending 4 nights at St Pete's next year and have priced up the hotel we stayed at last time which is within walking distance to Johns Pass (excellent location).

As it will be memorial weekend it was coming up at £500 a room for the 4 nights.

Has anyone got any recommendations that we could look at as an alternative

Do you mean St Pete Beach as it is about 4 miles to Johns Pass.

If so try the Dolphin Resort which I would imagine to be closer to £400.

Yes we stayed at the Barefoot Beach Hotel (madeira beach) and it was a short (mins) walk to Johns Pass and wanted to stay in a similar area again.

Hi OP,
Barefoot Beach is indeed in Madeira Beach & walkable to Johns Pass.
The Dolphin is in St Petes Beach and as said around 4 miles away so definitely not walkable to Johns Pass.
Madeira Beach & St Petes Beach are 2 separate beach towns and in fact have another beach town in between them, Treasure Island.

for a great place to stay, cheaper price and close proximity to Johns pass I recommend:

However, for a place to stay directly on the beach, I recommend providentresorts/suns...hfront-suites/ - but ask for a Gulf front room More expensive but has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is where we stay each time now.

Treasure Island, St Petes' area is fantastic. Lots to see and do but quieter than other areas. Johns Pass is a very short walk over the bridge on the Madeira Beach side.

We stayed at Barefoot Beach in Indian Shores last summer - it was a very easy and short drive to John's Pass and the beach there was stunning.

We stayed at Sunset Vistas on Treasure Island a few years back, lovely place but definitely get a Gulf front room...

We stayed in the Tradewinds grand island resort on St petes beach last year and to be honest I wouldn't recommend it. It was well in need of a refresh, and the pools are quite small and extremely busy.
