Wheelchair & Transferring to Rides
We've booked to go April 2018 and was wondering about being able to transfer my wheelchair user daughter (she cannot walk / stand unaided) to the park rides - I know some of the rides she can remain in her wheelchair but does anyone know if I'm allowed to carry her (transfer) on to the ride - She'll be 9 when we go so still liftable for me.
Little bit a doubt popped in to my head when I've been reading the ride restrictions. Thanks. |

We did exactly that this year my son is 8 and can't walk so anyrides without accessible carridges i lifted him on. Some rides are easier than others generally getting on is easier than off as you step down into the ride. If you need it they can often slow the ride or stop it so you have more time and the wheel chair gets taken to the exit. It worked out fine for us but I dont think I'll be able to do it when he's much bigger.
The only rides we couldn't go on where the people mover and astro orbiter as you have to go up a moving walk way to get to them and can't take a wheelchair up. All other rides have alternative entrance of the regular que isn't accessible. |

Thanks for the replies shouldn't be an issue if we miss a couple of the rides...
