Don't forget to book special assistance with your airline at the airports. It's so useful and means that an appointed company helps you through the security procedure at the departure airport and takes you right to the departure gate. If you're flying to MCO, they'll take you through the shorter Immigration queue as well. I was through Immigration in about 10 mins last time. They let one person accompany the wheelchair.
I've used the system twice and it's superb. Don't forget to ask for assistance on returning though. I didn't and ended up in the long security queue at MCO. I was left standing for over an hour! |

Hi, sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I'm glad you have found a suitable wheelchair. My son gets his, wheelchair from our local authority and his, is measured especially for him. We have always been given the large wheels as, they said they are much more stable and much easier to get around.
