Fidelity Resales

Hi All,

Has anyone bought resale through Fidelity Resales?

I just wondered if they were pretty reliable?

Thanks

Never heard of them but I just had a look on their website. Lots of properties but most are under offer. I have to say I think they are pricing very low so I wouldn't consider selling through them.

I found a 50 point contract at under $80 at SSR now those go for over $92 normally. Small contracts are always quick to sell hence more expensive.

I think Fidelity handle Disney's repossessed contracts. Can't remember where I read that though. They've certainly been around a while.

Whe I was looking for my first contract I contacted them, never heard back, then asked about them, and not many had good things to say.

Just my experience

When I was looking for someone to sell some of our points, I read quite a few negative reviews about this company.

Seems to be the general consensus! Steer clear.

Hi

They are who Disney redirect you to if you ask them about selling a contract back - they are their "preferred" broker. I used them in 2012 to buy a resale contract and they were fine. No problems at all. Since then they have introduced a fixed admin fee the buyer has to pay so that needs to be taken into consideration when buying, however they sometimes have much lower prices so I would use them again if the price was right.

Thanks for all your replies!

It would be for purchase I would use them for.

Reassuring to know you've used them successfully for this Belle

I tried to buy from Fidelity before - they seem to have real good pricing at that the time - if you ever call Disney and tell them you cant afford your timeshare its Fidelity they point you towards.

As a result a lot of the contracts they have are distressed- i.e they owe dues or they are going through a divorce etc.

They were really bad at communication - so much so I gave up and went with the Timeshare store - which almost everyone recommends.
