Has anyone been to the sealife centre at Val d'Europe?
We're going in a week's time and we thought we might go if we have time but now DS is asking if we can go there due to his recent obsession with sea creatures. I've seen I can get tickets in advance online including a adult and toddler special (he's 3 and a half) but wondered if it was worthwhile or if we'd do it in about 30 mins like ones we've been to here in the UK.

It's very similar to UK ones.

Haven't been but I think it is identical to UK ones. However, if you wanted to combine it with going to Val d'Europe you could make an afternoon of it - there are lots of places to eat round there and the lovely Jeff de Bruges ice cream shop.
The 'La Criee' restaurant actually has views into the sea life centre if you go downstairs. However, I'd only recommend this restaurant if you like seafood, as there isn't much on the menu if you don't!

Thanks Gill. I did think that if we did do it, we'd combine it with shopping and food 😊 I'm a vegan and hubby doesn't like fish so I don't think La Criee is for us. Sounds like a lovely idea though.

I'm not a huge fan of most of the SeaLife aquariums, but my 5-year-old and I spent close to an hour there - he really enjoyed it. And my kids usually race through this kind of place.
The shopping at Val d'Europe was good. |
