Easter or May half term - Flight cost

Hi, I'm looking at booking VA direct from Manchester in 2018.

I am tied to the school holidays, so trying to figure out which is a more costly time of year - Easter or May Half term?

Anyone have experience of this please?

Hi,
Personally I think that May holidays is quieter as Easter is pretty busy especially as it's a longer holiday! Have a look on the Dibbs "who goes when" to see what it is looking like from people of this website!

May is definitely cheaper. If you can go a couple of days earlier before the half term weekend even better. May is also better weather and not quite as busy.

I just got a price for flights flying out 17th April for 2 wks for �360 on skyscanner and I will book hotel separate that was from Edinburgh not sure what your price would be flying from elsewhere, good luck

Our easter holidays are march 30 - April 15 next year so the above dates would be outside the holidays, I have booked May half term flights thomas cook gat-mco 30 may - 13 june for 3 adults one child with PE on the return flight �2030. I paid more than that indirect for easter 2014. Hope you manage to find some you're happy with.

Can you tell me if these were changing airport in London for the return flight? Having a look at the same dates and that's all I have coming up. Great price for Edinburgh flights 👍🏻
