We have flown TC a few times and had no issues, and we are using them again next year.

We have just booked with TC Manchester - Orlando -direct Sept 7. The price was hard to resist (£370 each).

I'm presuming it's the no seat back TV AT.

We have ipads, powerbanks and IF (hopefully NOT) the tablet/laptop cabin ban does happen, my DH will have to break the habit of a life time and actually talk to me during the flight

Really confused with it all now, I just presumed there would be seatback TVs on all longhaul flights, obviously not x

There are two flights out to MCO that day

10;15 is the Airtanker lease A330 200 all Economy with seatback IFE
11:15 is a TC Scandinavia sublease A330 200 all Economy with seatback IFE

So you are sorted either flight.

I've flown with Thomas cook from Glasgow a few times and the flights have been fine. The inflight entertainment is pretty poor and they charge for headphones and to upgrade to a marginally better selection. With Netflix or Amazon prime I just download some movies or tv shows and watch those.
I find the flight home to be quite noisy and they take a lot of time with seeking headphones and upgrading entertainment, drinks, then food and then duty free before they finally turn out the lights. Then lights come back on after about two hours for breakfast. Even with ear plugs I often still can't sleep.
The food is ok. Nothing special but I usually buy a sandwich at the airport and take that on. Thomson and virgin are better. If I wouldn't pay hundreds of pounds more for 9 hours when there are some thins I can do to make it better.
