Wish we'd known about this last year when we were downgraded coming back from Cuba we were given £50 each but they only paid it for DH and despite me emailing and phoning numerous times they just ignored me :angry:eventually had to email the CEO before we got the refund.
This was also on top of a 27 hour delay

many thanks for your speedy reply... think I am going to book it! DH a little concerned he won't have as much legroom as the exit seat but think I have persuaded him with all the other benefits :-)

I loved TC premium and found it has lots of leg room

as said above the staff are great and as the separate this from the main cabin the 2 staff have very few people to work with.

Free sundown check in, free drinks, free fast track security, extra baggage and for me the best was the priority check in desk
when we arrived at MCO TC had 4 flights leaving at roughly the same time to the q was massive where as at the priority desk we walked straight up to the desk with no waiting!

for me I was gutted that it was fully booked this year :angry:

We have TC Premium booked for October this year. I have aquestion if OP doesnt mind me asking?

We have our seats booked do we still need to check in before or can we do it at the airport the morning we leave?

Yes fine to Check In at airport on day. As long as seats selected all good!

That is a great upgrade price.
Do you mind me asking who you contacted to get it and how long before the flight? We have already got booked seats and priority going out, so a good price to upgrade may be possible.
Although with 2 kids and the extra APD I think it will still be a high price for us.

hi not got it yet. saw it on the thomas cook website it was the difference between the EC and PE flight. when I called them they said it was available... but because I booked thru expedia I had to call them. they wouldnt do it. not done it yet, probably not even available now! in work today so can't do it.

I've been looking at TC PE recently for next September. The only thing putting me off booking is the downgrading that could happen. I would be absolutely devastated if we were downgraded and had to be squashed up. I am tall and pooh shaped so find the extra space really helpful, at least i know with Virgin/BA all their planes have it.

When I went on live chat as an upgrade price they would only give me the difference between the price I paid and the price on their 'system', which is a lot higher than their website! For our outbound they wanted for 2 adults 2 kids an extra £1040!
I was hoping for A LOT better than that!
