Thanks.
In general if it's a wheely case it'll have to go in the wardrobe. We have been known to pack a smaller drawstring type gym bag inside our carry on and just take that to our seat with us.

One thing that has not been mentioned with regards to the bubble is that the arms on the seats do not lift up fully... the PP who has young children may find it a bit uncomfortable if their little ones want to lie across laps.

Good thread. We are flying both ways in the bubble this year for the first time, also first time PE too. I thought about it to and decided that as we may not get chance to go in the bubble again as the VA 747s are being retired so we should do it.
If we get off last so be it😬😬

I'm a nervous flyer and feel so much better in the Bubble - in fact doing virgins fly without fear course this sunday eeekkk!

Cabin Crew are very attentive and I just prefer not to see rows upon rows of people.

Its like marmite some like it some hate it

Do they go most of the way up or hardly at all?

Really stuck between keeping our 'dibbers row' seats or moving downstairs, 2 adults a 6 year old and 18 month old on lap.

If we move downstairs we may be able to lift armrests and squidge her in beside her brother but lose the little ledge next to seats

Upstairs every time for us 😃
We are cattle class on the way out and pe for the 1st time on the way back so really looking forward to trying that. Bubble both ways.
DH really doesn't like flying and he found it much better upstairs, the captain even let him look in the cockpit before we took off. We also didn't seemed to be bothered as much by turbulence but that might have just been a coincidence.

We took a 15m old on PE in 2015 and the armrests didn't move. It was TC but the tip helps regardless. We took a crescent shaped pillow with us so when she fell asleep she could lay across us on the arm rests. Due to the shape she could still be belted. Was really handy and I'll be taking it again this time for my son.

For us the bubble is better, so much calmer for some reason. We were always nearly 1st off the plane after PE .
When you're up there go downstairs for a walk - you'll then realise how big the 747 is
