Non fish eaters at Bubba Gump.

For years we avoided Bubba Gumps because I don't eat fish. Every time someone suggested it, they got the same response from me. I'd not even bothered to look at the menu because 'They only do shrimp'. Last year, I reluctantly agreed to try it and there was lots of other things to choose. It's now become one of our 'must do' restaurants. So for anyone in the same position I was in...it really is worth giving it a try.

the ribs there are deeeeelicious... DD13 does not do fish or anything "icky" (in her opinion) that comes from the sea.

I love the Southern Fried Chicken. Last time we went, I ordered it but asked if I could just have one piece and not two. I can't eat two and it's just a waste. I wasn't worried about paying for two, I just didn't want to waste one. She had a little think and put them all through as sides. As a result it came to $10 instead of $17. Result!

My dh has burger or chicken sandwich. It doesn't smell fishy which is a big no no for him.

Have wanted to try this restaurant but because its mainly a fish place I would be too worried as I react badly when eating salmon or prawns ( shrimp) so cross contamination is a major concern so sadly no been

That's a shame. My reasons for not trying it before was because I don't eat fish or seafood, not for allergy reasons. I can totally understand that you would be concerned. A reaction would be the last thing you'd want on holiday!
