Thomson Dreamliner food + kids
How many of your children will not eat the meal supplied? I have a freaky eater so am beginning to think he wont eat the plane food will do our best to swap meals around with each other if we can. I dont want to have to take a packed lunch as we will leave home at silly o'Clock and trying to keep food cold and safe to eat on route is not my idea of fun neither is paying the extortionate food court prices .

My kids aren't fussy eaters but I really am so I feel your pain. Personally I'd try to get them to eat as much as possible of it / swap as much as possible, & buy some things like crisps, cereal bars, maybe some fruit etc. before boarding the plane.
I know it can work out a bit expensive but it's better than them not really eating a lot & then complaining or getting stressy because they're hungry the rest of the journey.

My son is 9 and really weird i had read that the kids meal was sausage and mash but if the sausage has gravy over it or touches the mash he wont even try it then if the adult meal is something like a chicken curry he wont eat that either.Would eat the bread roll and crackers / butter and cheese. He may eat the tuna sweetcorn sandwich they offer but will just have to wait and see.

Last year my kids picked their favourite sandwiches from Sainsburys to take on board (just incase). I bought a small cool bag from Morrisons and put some frozen petit filous type yoghurts in the bottom and on top. They are only 85g each so if classed as liquid would still be okay. I was asked to open it and prove the size and got to keep them no problem. Also had choc bars which kept cool. Before we landed the petit filous things got binned. Happy kids.

The kids meals on Thomson outbound last week were sausage and mash and veg. The afternoon tea was a jam cob (a bit soggy according to DD). Might be worth picking up a sandwich to take on with you?
There was no choice with the adult meal - chicken, potatoes and veg and afternoon tea was cheese and onion sandwich.
