Escapeology is great. It's owned by an English family who update it regularly. They've done a great job. None of the rooms are easy but the challenge is worth it!

We really wanted to do Antidote but that hadn't opened when we were there, think it opened about a month later

Sure you will have a great time, my kids loved it
My youngest will nearly be 6 will he be bored? Can you give me more details as in, is it scary? Never heard of this before

It's not at all scary it's just a themed room with clues and codes for opening up padlocks to reveal more clues which give you the code to the padlock to enter another room with yet more clues and some red herrings, the final padlock gets you out of the room ( if you get that far and crack the codes )
There is a TV screen in the room and you can press a buzzer to ask for hints if you are stuck, these hints appear on the TV screen .
You can involve your 6 year old as much as possible by helping him with the clues, our 10 year old grandson solved one of the clues that we struggled with only you can judge if you think he would get bored .
We did Arizona Shoot Out, the room was themed like the Wild West, we loved it .
